Course Description

The English Language course is designed to foster a lifelong enthusiasm for reading, writing, and effective spoken communication. It caters to learners who have English as their first language and is applicable in any cultural context. Additionally, for learners who speak a language other than English at home, we offer the English as a Second Language course.

Course Objectives

The course aims to develop learners' English language skills for various purposes and audiences. It focuses on the four key areas of reading, writing, speaking, and listening. By the end of the course, learners will:

  • Gain confidence in applying all four language skills effectively in everyday situations.

Course Outline

Learners will engage with various genres of fiction, poetry, playscripts, and non-fiction texts, providing authentic contexts for the development of their language skills.
