The Starscollege Level 3 Foundation Diploma is a stepping stone to success, equipping learners with the knowledge and skills for professional growth. It fosters self-confidence, improves communication skills, and provides a solid foundation for further studies or employment.
Starscollege Level 3 qualifications are available to learners from age 16. Starscollege does not specify entry requirements, ensuring that admitted learners have the right capability to undertake the learning and assessment.
Starscollege centres must recruit learners with integrity onto appropriate qualifications that meet their needs and enable progression. The qualification is offered in English. Non-native English speakers must provide evidence of English language competency.
The Starscollege Level 3 Foundation Diploma in People and Organisations consists of 6 mandatory units, totalling 60 credits, 600 hours Total Qualification Time (TQT), and 240 Guided Learning Hours (GLH).
The mandatory units include Organisation Structures and their Culture and Values, Principles of Organisational Planning, Managing Human Resources, Personal and Professional Development, Teamwork, and Leadership and Management Skills. Each unit is worth 10 credits.
The qualification is designed for one academic year of full-time study but is flexible to accommodate part-time and distance learning. It is delivered face-to-face, through lectures, tutorials, seminars, and online by approved centres.
All units within this qualification are internally assessed by the centre and externally verified by Starscollege. The qualifications are criterion-referenced, based on the achievement of all specified learning outcomes.
To succeed in our English-taught qualifications, learners must possess a requisite level of English language proficiency. All applicants are expected to demonstrate English comprehension equivalent to an IELTS score of 5.5. For non-native English speakers without the last two years of schooling in English, centers must ensure proficiency at levels such as CEFR B2, PTE Academic 51, or IELTS 5.5 (with specific requirements for Reading and Writing). Individual learner proficiency evidence is at the discretion of the center.
Successful completion of the Starscollege Level 3 Foundation Diploma in People and Organisations provides learners with opportunities for workplace and academic progressions to a wide range of Starscollege Level 4 diplomas.
