The Starscolege Level 5 Extended Diploma in Project Management equips learners with practical skills for diverse contexts. It offers progression in specific subjects, enhancing knowledge in operations management, project quality management, and digital business practices.
These qualifications are for learners aged 18 and above. The entry profile includes a Level 3 Diploma, GCE Advanced level in 2 subjects, or relevant management experience for mature learners (over 21).
Starscollege Level 5 Extended Diploma qualifications equate to Higher National Diplomas (HND) and Year 2 of a three-year UK Bachelor’s degree programme.
The Starscollege Level 5 Extended Diploma in Project Management consists of 12 mandatory units, 240 credits, 2400 hours Total Qualification Time (TQT), and a minimum of 1200 Guided Learning Hours (GLH).
To achieve the Starscollege Level 5 Extended Diploma in Project Management, learners must achieve 240 credits. Level 4 includes Principles of Project Management, People Management, Introduction to Business Finance, Fundamentals of Management in Projects, Business Marketing, Personal and Professional Development. Level 5 includes Operations Management in Projects, Project Quality Management, Business Strategy and Sustainability, Responsible Business Practices, Project Planning, Execution and Evaluation, Digital Business Practices.
The qualification is designed for two academic years of full-time study but accommodates part-time and distance learning. It is delivered face-to-face, through lectures, tutorials, seminars, distance, online by approved centres only.
All units are internally assessed and externally verified by Starscollege. To pass a unit, learners must fulfill all the learning outcomes and meet all assessment criteria.

Success in our English-taught qualifications requires learners to possess a sufficient level of English language skills. Applicants must demonstrate English language comprehension equivalent to IELTS (International English Language Testing System) 5.5 to be eligible for enrollment in our programs.
The Starscollege Level 5 Extended Diploma in Project Management enables learners to progress into or within employment and/or continue their further study. Learners are also eligible to gain direct entry into Year 3 of a three-year UK Bachelor’s degree programme.
